Full Description

February 1988: 450 sherds PMed pottery, mostly clear-glazed red earthenware, of which a small proportion had white slipware markings. Also some later `china' and stoneware. Found fieldwalking. Main concentration in NE corner. Also concentration of brick and peg tile (65 kg) from this corner. Also glass, iron nails & clay pipe-stems (tobacco), iron slag, a button & a whetstone. Details and distribution maps in parish file (S1)(S2). Also 5 Rom & 6 ?Rom sherds.
