Full Description

Scatter of pottery near the southern edge of the former Great Whittingham Green. Pottery consists of C13-C16 unglazed and part-glazed wares. The site of a demolished cottage at the S end of the Med scatter is the source of some later material - see PMed.
One very eroded sherd of Rom Samian ware was also found (S1). For Great Whittingham Green - see FSF 040.
