Full Description

Scatter of pottery on the southern edge of the former Great Whittingham Green (see FSF 040). Pottery consists mainly of unglazed C13-C14 wares, with a much smaller component of later Med part-glazed wares (?C15) and a light sprinkling of PMed sherds (S1).
November 1997: Misc metal detected finds including most of a collectioon of c.10 lead pot rivets and a 16/17 century bronze hooked fitting, Norwich Households type (S2).
