Full Description
Bronze 4 way ?strap separator/junction in form of hollow cross with tubular arms and open back. A few signs of wear around the outer edges of the arms which are infilled with open ended rings. Width 4.0cm, thickness 1.0cm. Suggested as Late Med/C16 (S1) but probably Rom - note parallel at Icklingham & see Veralamium Excavations Vol 1, 1972, fig 34.57.
