Full Description
Sceatta. Reverse: porcupine type G, standard; obverse: unusual, ?very degenerate porcupine with a cross above. Weight 1.12g. Reverse also appears to have been filed, could be a mis-struck porcupine G, these are thought to come from Frisia (Holland. Identified as Series G4 (Metcalf) Sceatta of AD 710-715 (S1).
Also Med token (C14/C15) and PMed (C17) bronze coin weight for old 10 shillings pieces - revalued to 11 shillings. Details in parish file.
A relief decorated lead strap end found at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), ?LSax (S2).
