Summary

A small amount of possible Ipswich ware and some more certain Thetford type ware sherds found together with EMed sherds and C13-C14 coarse wares during fieldwaling. Excavation of a pit at this site uncovered further medieval pottery sherds alongside the left leg from a Roman bronze figurine.

Full Description

A small amount of possible Ipswich ware and some more certain Thetford type ware sherds found together with EMed sherds and C13-C14 coarse wares (S1) during fieldwalking. See also Med. Excavation of a pit at this site uncovered further medieval pottery sherds alongside the left leg from a Roman bronze figurine (S2). Reference seen in S3.
