Full Description

Tip of a bronze socketed spearhead found with a metal detector. (S1) 7.2 cm long fragment has a simple rounded midrib and plain blades. The broken end has been partially flattened and appears to bear hammer marks, indicating that the spearhead was deliberately broken up, probably for scrap. Adjoins Med pot scatter GLL 018.
Probably Late Bronze Age.
