Full Description

Jan 1992: 6 rectangular and one square features cut into clay on "Covehithe" beach. Exposed after storm and covered again by heavy shingle a few days later. All had sloping sides. Photograph of 4 (?) and sketch plan and map in parish file. Dimensions of three marked on plan as 43" x 43"; 6'4" x 33" and 9'6" by 42". Probably salt pans, date unknown. (S1)
