Full Description

February 1993: long low earthwork bank, circa 40cm high, running parallel to wooded slope to E. Survives from new bypass earthwork into S field boundary, circa 130m (S1). Probably marks W boundary of former trackway from Exning to Favin's Head and St Mindred's Well, as shown on OS 1853 edition map (S2). Excavation to follow prior to pipeline routing.
