Full Description

Complete polished stone axehead, 11.2cm by 6.2cm by 3.0cms. Found by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) while mending a fence (digging new post hole?) along B1068 & N edge of Tendring Hall Estate in early 1990.
Map reference not precise as secton of fence repaired quite long. Drawing in file (S1).
Further axe (not plotted) found circa 400 yards to S (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) in October 1992 (S2).
