Full Description

April 1993: site visit following near completion of building of `Mwnt Cottage'. Much spoil already removed (redeposited at E Farm, Barnham - in former pit?), some redeposited on raised garden to rear. Visible sections demonstrated circa 1m depth of deposits over natural sandy gravel (examined by BM team excavating Pal site at E Farm, Barnham). Four sherds found in redeposited soil: 1 body sherd Thetford(?) type; 1 handle & 1 body sherd Grimston type; 1 body sherd C14/C15 (S1).
