Full Description

Scatter of metalwork & pottery found in defineable area on part of smallholding. Described as lots of pottery visible on field surface plus mainly metal detected metalwork finds including a few buttons and coins - all said to be of C16 & C17 date. Thought to be dump or house site (S1). Isolated position, away from roads, S of stream/ditch, N of Colchester Green. Nothing significant shown on Hodskinson 1783 map, tithe or OS edition maps. House platform (COK 014) in adjoining field to NE (S2).
