Full Description

Assessment trenches revealing a single grey sand filled ditch/linear feature (with no finds) under a grey sand layer and windblown sand. One trench also had a peaty layer at the N end, indicating a probable wet area to the NW of the site, in the direction of Caudle Head. Details in (S1).

Assessment of the potential for the analysis and publication of the archaeologicial finds at RAF Lakenheath (S2).
