Full Description

April 1994: Three pits observed (one sketched) in footing trenches for new house. See (S1) for details. No finds.
Builder, (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), said house to S, upslope, had about 2 feet depth of `topsoil' over natural sand. Presumably an artificially made up area. Close to church, BNH 003 and Rom site BNH 030/042.
