Full Description
June 1994: Scatter of worked flint, pottery and animal bone located during rapid assessment of area machined in preparation for laying of hard core to N of Caudle Head. Details in (S1). `IA' finds include 6- 8 sherds of crude hand- made pottery (not flint gritted) including 2 rims (one with diagonal slashed decoration characteristic of `IA' forms) from slack shouldered vessels.

Part of larger Caudle Head occupation site.
