Full Description

1978: Metal detected finds consisting of: bronze finger ring, square bezel with raised knob of interlacing loops. Diameter 20mm. Lead boss, function unknown, lion-head facing, traces of lug and iron stain on reverse. Diameter 27mm. Bronze cricketers buckle, damaged. Said to have been found `in field to S of River Ouse, W of Brandon' although cited grid reference (S1) quite a long way S of river and S of London road. Probably relates more to Brandon 018 or 075 areas (?).
