Building labelled `Site of the manr. of Shotsham' marked as adjoining the west side of Church Lane on William Haiward's map of Shottisham 1631 (S1). History of the manor is given in (S2). Present Shottisham Hall is named on (S1) as `Arnolds Tenement'.
