Full Description

Clunch stone architectural fragments found in a pit dug for fence post. Deposit and associate mid C15 pottery suggest recent deposition. Fragments, however, are of window tracery of Perpendicular style. Suggest they derive from the parish church (WGN 007) which has apparent Victorian restoration of Perpendicular style windows & also retains some Med clunch in structure. Details in (S1).
