Full Description

1994: Scatter of worked flints found fieldwalking (on several occasions) by Stephen Matthews. Part of larger scatter crossing parish boundary - see Redgrave 31 to N. Finds collected (also many other waste flakes to collect) include a hammer stone, a fabricator/rod, 5 cores, 3 scrapers, 44 utilized flakes and 22 other flakes. Assemblage all unpatinated (though some deep brown staining?). Crudely worked, large squat flakes with common hinge fractures suggest possible late BA/IA date, as supported by `rod' like artefact (S1)(S2).
Also Med.
