`Site identified initially by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) who found a Roman coin in this area (shown to Ipswich Museum)'(S1).
1994: Fieldwalked by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) locating mainly Rom scatter. Finds listed as including 1 sherd Samian; 1 amphora; 1 Nene Valley mortarium; 7 Oxford colour coat (including 3 mortarium sherds), 1 shell `gritted'; 67 rim, 27 base and several hundred greyware sherds (C2-C4); and 15 tile fragments. Also 11 Med plus one glazed sherds, 1 PMed sherd, 3 flint flakes and 22 burnt flints (Un). Details in (S1).
