Full Description

1994: Small Med scatter of metal detected metalwork located by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), includes two silver short-cross coins (not seen?) and bronze shield shaped flat enamelled mount, 6.8cms high by 5.7cms wide. Bears arms of the BOHUN family, Earls of Northampton. Probably C14. For details see (S1), drawing in parish file.
Other items bearing Bohun arms have been found at Barking, Bramford and Bury St Edmunds.
Some uncertainty about cited NGR.
