Summary

Rev G Cardew, in 1865, writes `In the adjoining land, in the occupation of Mr Posford, I have also found ancient remains (see HLM 005), and again in the glebe field opposite the church gate.

Full Description

Rev G Cardew, in 1865, writes `In the adjoining land, in the occupation of Mr Posford, I have also found ancient remains (see HLM 005), and again in the glebe field opposite the church gate.' (S1). Finds scatter, or, more probably, trench excavations by Rev Cardew. Date and nature of finds not specified.
