Full Description

1992: Fieldwalking assessment prior to proposed conversion to golf course located Med pottery scatter over 50m x 30m area, fronting Clay Lane (and Lavenham parish boundary). Finds listed (from two field walking visits) as: 1 body sherd St Neots (?) ware; 4 rims, 1 base and 54 body sherds Med coarseware (including EMed). Also 2 Rom(?) body sherds.
