Full Description
Circa October 1992: Sestertius, very corroded, of ? ANTONINVS, i.e. mid C2 onwards.
December 1992: Denarious of Julius Caesar (as Sear number 308 Sydenham 1128), mid C1 BC. Both found metal detecting on fields either side of Horringer - Bury road (fields 45 & 47 on tithe map, field 47 then known as `The Fair Field' (S1).
September 1992: 4 bronze C4 coins, fragment of brooch & pottery (?) from field 45 on tithe map, generally E/S half of field (S1)(S2).
