Assington Green: Marked and named as `Green' on Hodskinson's map of Suffolk 1783 (S1). Enclosed 1817 and subsequently incorporated into Assington Park. Outline line shown on enclosure map and named in award as `Assington Green' (S2). Linear pond on south side. Church adjoined west side of green.
