Full Description

1991: Medieval & Post Medieval pottery scatter near Alderton House, C12-C16/C17, mostly C13-C15. Two abraded Roman(?) sherds. Details (S1)

1995: Further Medieval and Post Medieval metal detector finds from mainly Medieval and Post Medieval site. Corroded brooch fragment - possibly Langton Down type (C1) and Roman(?) and a domed mount fragment. Details in (S2).

1996: Further Medieval and Post Medieval metal detector finds from mainly Medieval and Post Medieval site. 3 coins (2 of Valentinian/Valens - AD 364- 378 and a Sestertius), lead biconical weight Roman (?) and a C4 bracelet fragment (S2).
