Full Description
1995: Principally Rom scatter identified by E Savery during fieldwalking survey. Site previously identified by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(metal detectorist) who found at least 1 Rom coin and a Rom brooch (taken to Ipswich Museum - nothing was reported to SAU!). Fieldwalking conditions very poor but Rom finds listed as 6 pieces of probable tegula; 2/3 Samian sherds; 1 mortarium sherd; 4 rim, 2 base and 10 body sherds grey ware; also 1 drilled pot/fired clay fragment (Rom?). Also 2 PMed brick and 1 PMed tile fragments, 6 sherds Med coarse ware and 1 glazed (Late) Med sherd and burnt flints (S1).
