Full Description

1989 - November 1995: PMed metal detector finds (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) include various coins of C16-C19 and a series of 21 lead tokens, from Med to mainly C18. Details in (S1)(S2). Said to be area where gravel (from Maids Cross Hill pits) stored and loaded onto barges. Lots of gravel and clay tobacco pipes found on field surface (S1).
Adjoins causeway LKH 163 and close to Med/PMed fairground LKH 130.
Also BA, IA, Rom & Med.
