Full Description

Complete, partly polished flint axe from Eyke, formerly said to be from `Woodbridge area'. 16.3cm long. Finely worked, almost parallel side edge and face for most of its length. Relatively straight blade edge. Grey flint, unpatinated, covered in blotches of black material with sand grains embedded in it (?as a result of being in the sea?)(S1). Findspot beside drain but nowhere near sea. Not stated how found, re-deposited?
