Full Description
September 1995: Metal detector find from Ipswich & District Detector Club Rally 1995 at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) include an extremely worn LIA dished bronze coin, maximum diameter 16.4mm. Obverse illegible, reverse centaur to right. Probably Van Arsdell 2089-1 (Cunobeline type, first half of C1)(S1).
Rom late C3 coin from same location (see Rom Misc).
For another LIA coin from circa 30m away in adjoining field, see HSK 019 and for possible LIA/ Early Rom fitting from circa 130m S in same field see Rom Misc. Finds possibly representative of LIA(?), Rom, Med and PMed manuring - see Misc.
