Full Description

September 1995: Metal detector find from Ipswich & District Detector Club Rally 1995 at (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) include a rectangular lead LSax(?) or EMed brooch. Pin missing, held on two projecting (not pierced) lugs 4mm apart, tops bent outwards. Corroded iron fragment in the gap. Similar single smaller lug for catchplate. Relief bead line (panelled) decoration & traces of low relief circles within rectangular panels. Drawing in file (S1)(S2).
Within area of Misc Rom, Med & PMed finds, possibly resulting from manuring - see Misc.
