Summary

Finds recovered from the garden of Street Farm during the building of a house called Becketts in 1980 included numerous and substantial fragments of C13- C14 unglazed pottery, also some part-glazed sherds that probably came from Grimston-type jugs of C13-C15 date.

Full Description

Finds recovered from the garden of Street Farm during the building of a house called Becketts in 1980 included numerous and substantial fragments of C13- C14 unglazed pottery, also some part-glazed sherds that probably came from Grimston-type jugs of C13-C15 date. Also a stone spindle whorl (S1).
Note: this may be the same as RGV 044 (Beckets) which is situated further along the Street and opposite site of road - appears to be some confusion!
