Full Description
1996: Fieldwalking (and metal detecting) survey by Lowestoft Archaeological and Local History Society Field Group by `casual line-walk'. Med finds from field 43 listed as 3 body and 1 rim sherds of pottery; 2 fragments of probable tile with dark green glaze splashes (date?); part of cambered tile coated with cheesey brown glaze (date?); part of small strap handle in dark grey fabric with splash of dark green glaze (date?)(S1). Also 5 PMed body sherds, pin, tile, metalwork etc, from field.
