Full Description
1996: Fieldwalking (and metal detecting) survey by Lowestoft Archaeological and Local History Society Field Group by `casual line-walk'. Med finds from field 42 listed as 23-25 pottery sherds, including a fragment of Seeburg(?) stoneware; a fragment from a dagger chape? (date?) and cncentration of semi-glazed pin tiles over area of approximately 300 feet by 200 feet (location not specified). The glazing varies from light to dark browns and greens - rough cast underneath, half-inch thick, some with drag marks and mortar. Details in (S1). For PMed finds see Preh.
