Two separate (but originally linking?) lengths of curving bank forming semi(?) circle at least (SW half(?) possible relationship to the warren and parish boundary banks.

Full Description

January 1997: Two separate (but originally linking?) lengths of curving bank forming semi(?) circle at least (SW half(?) not examined). E portion (TL 771 834) consists of bank circa 50cms high crossing (warren?) banks WNG 025. N end destroyed by Forestry road 4. Reappears(?) to NW as slight bank (circa 30cms high) with large ditch on outside, at TL 769 836. May continue on other side of road (see sketch map in file)(S1). If originally true circle would be at least 430m in diameter.
Not shown on OS 1st edition or later maps. Relationship to warren and parish boundary banks WNG 025 needs checking on the ground.
Aug 2009: area on NE side of ride examined but this bank or ditch not traced here. SW side of ride now coniferous plantations so not examined.
