Full Description

Palstave, 16.0cm long, blade width 4.4cm, weight 478g. `Developed Shield Pattern' (trident decoration) type, group 2/3 (R1), with side loop. Drawing in file. Metal detector find, possibly from spread dredgings from adjacent (semi-natural?) stream (S1).
Also Rom & Med scatter (TM 147 481) so possibly redeposited?
