Full Description

January 1997: Metal detector find of butt end of looped palstave. Length 9.7cms (from sketch). Very battered condition, loop broken. For rough sketch see (S1) - no decoration shown below stop ridge - said to be LBA form (S1).
March 1997: Blade fragment, joining the earlier find, found metal detecting (S2).
