Full Description

December 1995: Metal detected finds said to be from a very large defined area, circa 1100m by 400m, centreing on cited NGR. No particular concentration noted by finders. Note includes main area of Rom site, WTG 012. Rom finds listed as 14 coins (1 denarius of Nero AD 50-68, rest from AD 198-217 to 330-337), two Colchester derivative double lug (Harlow) type brooches (c. AD 40-70), a Colchester derivative hinged type, a Nauheim derivative type (C1), one oval plate type brooch (C3/C4), a bronze finger ring and a bronze nail.
