Full Description

1989: Fieldwalking survey (20m apart transects) over large (circa 50 ha) area located very thin widespread background scatter of Preh flints (1 scraper & 11 flakes), and later ceramic material (9 Rom and 4 Med sherds) over E half of Area B (OS 0052). Very little (not specified what) was found in the W half of Area B (OS 0086).
1992: Test pits demonstrated circa 40cm deep topsoil. Only finds were `a few flint flakes and PMed sherds'. Details in (S1).
