September 1997: Fieldwalking survey (40m apart transects, 20m stint lengths) of part of Forestry Compartment 4042, located small cluster (over circa 40m x 40m area) of 2 flakes, 2 utilised flakes, 1 scraper and 1 (EBA?) potsherd.

Full Description

September 1997: Fieldwalking survey (40m apart transects, 20m stint lengths) of part of Forestry Compartment 4042, located small cluster (over circa 40m x 40m area) of 2 flakes, 2 utilised flakes, 1 scraper and 1 (Early Bronze Age?) potsherd. Details in (S1).

Descriptions of flint finds are broad, dating to a specific period bracket is ill-advised. However, they may be later Prehistoric (Bronze Age?), based on details of discovery, (S2).
