Full Description
1985: Three Rom coins found metal detecting on E edge of the field N of St Bartholomews Church in 1985. Coins were a silver siliqua of ARCADIUS (AD 392-395) and Urbs Roma, and a coin of Valens(?), cited NGR approximate. Details in (S1).
1997: Landowner discussed possibilities of carrying out small scale excavations in SE corner of field (now caravan park). Not known if undertaken.
