Summer 1997: Metal detector find of gold coin, Merovingian tremississ, with clear evidence of having been used as a pendant (part of suspension loop survives on reverse) for Bishop ADITUS II c.674-689, mint Clermont-Ferrand, weight 1-269 (including part of loop). From cliff fall on beach. Seen by BM (S1).
