Full Description
1998: Monitoring of pipe-laying between Euston and Brettenham resulted in the sample excavation of part of small Roman settlement between Rushford Road and the Little Ouse. Evidence was also uncovered of a field system and a moderately wealthy settlement appears to have existed between the 2nd and 4th centuries. Pottery and coins were found. Details in (S1).
