Full Description
1999: Group of Rom finds, mainly from single ditch underlying extensive hillwash. Details in (S1).
Further excavation in Oct 1999 revealed a ditch field system asociated with a coffined burial of probable Roman date. Monitoring in adjacent areas (TM/3824/7715) revealed a large ditch containing Roman finds, possible boundary for nearby site, HWT 003. S2
Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 1999 (S3).
