Full Description

August 2000 - July 2001: Monitoring of the refurbishment of 'Row View', The Street, Kersey ( a PMed timber-framed residence) failed to reveal any significant archaeological deposits although a number of fragments of dressed limestone, which had beenused in the foundation of the building were recovered.These probably originate from an Augustinian Priory (dissolved during the 15th century) situated c.180m to the NW. No other artefacts were found (S1).
