Full Description

Ancient woodland as defined in (S1)(S2) & (S3). For details of history and earthworks see (S1), The Suffolk Wildlife Trust, English Nature, the County Council Countryside section and various other Oliver Rackham works including (R1).
For additions to include former parts of wood as marked on 1595 map (S2)(S3) see HNS 024 & 025 and separate wood to NE see HNS 026.
