Full Description

Scatter of pottery, including grey wares (two C4 flanged rim bowls etc), a samian sherd, Oxford mortarium sherd and roof tile fragments (S1). Further Samian sherd found while metal detecting (no metalwork) (S2).
1996: further metal detecting identified 9 Roman coins of 3rd and 4th century date.
