Full Description

Excavation revealing part of a late Iron Age/early Roman saltern site, identified 1999 (S2). Four further areas of saltworking (Un) were identified duirng monitoring the surrounding area (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2000 (S3).
