Full Description

Scatter of pottery found on and around a footpath near a railway cutting. Grey wares including late C1 - C2 bowl and jar forms (S1).
Also IA pottery.
Abraded Rom grey ware sherds were recovered, overlying a layer containing IA sherds, in a small-scale excavation by J M Flemming, 1986 (S2).
