Full Description

1998: Finds, probably by metal detector, of parts of two socketed axes (1 plain, 1 triple ribbed) and sword blade fragment. Details in (S1). Probably hoard. Drawings in parish file. Cited NGR appears to lie (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Further finds of fragments of two more socketed axes (later?) in year (S2).
Also sixpence of Elizabeth I.
